Greens/EFA MEP elected Chair of the Committee of Inquiry on the Protection of Animals during Transport

Brussels, 23 September 2020 - Today, the Greens/EFA MEP Tilly Metz was elected Chair of the Committee of Inquiry on the Protection of Animals during Transport.

This Committee of Inquiry was formally set up on 19 June 2020 and will investigate any issues associated with animal transport in the European Union.
