Rural Development issues & Animal Protection and Welfare
Hello! Currently, I am mainly responsible for following the work of two parliamentary commissions: the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) and the Committee of Inquiry on the Protection of Animals during Transport (ANIT).
Prior to my current role, I held the position of Research Consultant for environmental issues concerning the European Union at a public affairs and lobbying company in Brussels.
I completed my master’s degree in European Studies (specialisation in International Relations and European Politics) at the University of Maastricht, in the Netherlands.
Even before, as an intern in environmental matters, I worked with the development and financing of projects to promote environmental sustainability in South American cities, at the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), in Paris.
Outside of work, I usually practice tennis and running.
