While acknowledging the undeniable benefits of reporting in monitoring and ensuring compliance with key policy measures, it is essential to recognize the potential problems that can arise over time, such as redundant obligations, duplicated processes, obsolete requirements or inefficient frequency. The proposal seeks to address some of these challenges by simplifying legislation, thus avoiding unnecessary duplication in reporting.
