Report on the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on the mobilization of the European Globalization Adjustment Fund for the benefit of redundant workers following an application from Belgium

Strasbourg, 12 July 2023 - The European Globalization Adjustment Fund aims to demonstrate solidarity and the promotion of sustainable and decent employment by providing support to displaced workers or self-employed people who have lost their jobs in restructuring events, assisting them in returning to sustainable employment as soon as possible. We voted in favor of this report, which is very important for the 603 people who lost their jobs.
