Strategic approach to pharmaceuticals in the environment

I voted in favour of the resolution because it calls for the inclusion of environmental effects in the risk-benefit assessment for the approval of active substances; so that there is an environmental risk assessment for all human medicines; in order to update the requirements for the assessment of environmental risks and to make the production of imported medicines comply with the same environmental standards as medicines produced in the EU.
