New MFF, own resources and Recovery plan

I voted in favour of this resolution, along with all the MEPs of the European Greens, because it calls for solidarity and the European Green Deal to be at the center of the plans for the recovery of the European economy, and specifically the new Multiannual Financial Framework which will be presented shortly.

With this resolution, the EP presents a socio-economic transformation and recovery plan supported by the MFF of EUR 2 trillion, of which at least EUR 1 trillion would come in the form of grants to Member States through a common loan guaranteed by the Community budget. The EP also asks that Members of the European Parliament are fully involved in shaping the Recovery Plan. For the European Parliament, the Green Deal and the digital economy will be the driving force for future investments, which must be conditioned to the fulfillment of commitments regarding environmental protection, biodiversity, sustainability, and fiscal justice.
