Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: application EGF/2020/001 ES/Galicia - shipbuilding ancillary sectors (A9-0192/2020 - Valerie Hayer)

I voted in favour of this mobilisation of the EGF because it is one of the rare social instruments at community level that provides direct aid to workers. In this particular case, the 960 people who worked in the shipbuilding sector, in several companies, incluindo 38 SMEs, will be supported by a coordinated pack of personalised services that was designed together by social partners and through a collaboration agreement.
