Methods and procedures for making own resources available on the basis of the Emissions Trading System, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and reallocated profits and measures to meet cash requirements

Strasbourg, 19 April 2023 - I voted in favor of this technical report on the proposal for a Council regulation on the methods and procedure for making available own resources based on the Emissions Trading System, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and reallocated profits and on measures to meet cash requirements.These own resources should be made available to the Union under the best possible conditions. This regulation therefore lays down the rules under which Member States make these own resources available to the Commission.
