MEPs want to prohibit the export of pesticides that have been banned in the EU

Brussels, 11 November 2020 - Several MEPs sent a letter calling on the President of the European Commission (EC) to prohibit the export of pesticides that have been banned in the European Union due to their adverse health and environmental effects, and to stop importing foodstuff produced outside the European Union using these dangerous chemicals. 

Francisco Guerreiro (Greens/EFA) is one of the signatories of this letter.
