MEPs want the EU to stop ignoring the problem of methane from livestock farming.

Brussels, December 20, 2022 - Together with 29 fellow MEPs, Francisco Guerreiro has sent a letter to Ursula Von der Layen and Frans Timmermans calling on the EU to stop ignoring the scourge of methane from livestock farming.
The MEPs express their concern at the European Commission's lack of action on this issue, and call for methane reduction to be seen as an emergency due to the climate crisis facing the planet.
