MEPs call on the urgent adoption of the Digital Services Act in the EU
Brussels, 7 November 2020 – Several Members of the European Parliament, including Francisco Guerreiro (Greens/EFA), wrote a letter to the European Commission calling for the quick adoption of the Digital Services Act.
The request stemmed from the fear that Member States will undermine current European work in this direction. “Any unilateral attempt by Member States to legislate will only lead to further fragmentation of the internal market,” MEPs say.
