MEPs call on governments and institutions to help Uyghurs in China

Brussels, 1 October 2020 – In an article published by French newspaper Le Monde, several personalities, including MEP Francisco Guerreiro, called on national and international authorities to act in the face of persecution of Uyghurs by the Chinese communist regime.

Under the initiative of French MEP Raphäel Glucksmann (S&D), the article was widely disseminated in the media, namely in the Quotidien show.
