MEPs call for journalistic freedom in the United States of America

Brussels, 23 October 2020 – Following a proposal from the US Department for Homeland Security to limit the visa for foreign journalists operating in country to a maximum of 480 days, several MEPs, including Francisco Guerreiro (Greens/EFA), urged for this serious threat to the exercise of journalistic freedom to be dropped.
