MEPs ask Poland to reject law against abortion in cases involving severe fetal defects

Brussels, 12 October 2020 - Several MEPs, including Francisco Guerreiro (Greens/EFA), expressed great concern about a case currently pending before the Polish Constitutional Court, resulting from a parliamentary initiative by the ruling party that wants the court to make abortion illegal in cases of severe fetal defects.
