MEPs and Stella Assange ask Joe Biden to pardon Julian Assange

Brussels, December 19, 2022 - 45 MEPs and Stella Assange addressed US President Joe Biden in an open letter co-signed by 41 EU lawmakers, NGOs, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and many others, asking for Julian Assange's pardon.
WikiLeaks co-founder Assange is currently imprisoned in the UK and awaiting extradition to the United States to stand trial on charges of espionage and computer misuse.
