Measures to reduce the cost of deploying gigabit electronic communication networks (Gigabit Infrastructure Regulation)

The Gigabit Infrastructure Act sets another important milestone for a more united European Union: from 2029, additional costs applied to calls to numbers registered in another Member State (intra-EU calls) will no longer take place in the internal market. In addition, the GIA facilitates the deployment of high-speed networks, taking into account national and local specificities. I voted in favor.
