Francisco Guerreiro talks about battling cancer on the Acreditar webinar

Brussels, 10 September 2020 - Few know this, but at the age of 6 the MEP Francisco Guerreiro (Verdes / ALE) faced an oncological disease. This was the story he told on the Acreditar webinar.

With the help of his parents and the National Health Service, he managed to overcome this problem and today he has a happy story to tell.

Francisco Guerreiro remembers the moments he was hospitalized and his struggle, with other cancer survivors.

In discussion, also the role that policy makers can play in supporting families and victims of childhood cancer.
