Fighting discrimination in the EU - the long-awaited horizontal anti-discrimination directive

Strasbourg, April 19, 2023 - The adoption of the horizontal anti-discrimination directive would provide a comprehensive framework to combat discrimination at EU level and would eliminate the gaps in the existing framework in order to guarantee equal protection from a horizontal approach and for all. I voted in favor of this resolution, which aims to put pressure on the Council to unblock the directive.
