The European Parliament voted on the report by the Committee on Budgets on the European Commission's proposal for a European Council decision to introduce a system of new own resources in the Community budget. I voted in favor in order to finalize the consultation procedure, ensuring that procedurally there is nothing to prevent the Council from reaching an agreement on this dossier as soon as possible.
