Animal Welfare Intergroup sends letter to President of the European Commission about Farm to Fork and Green Deal legislation

Brussels, June 12, 2023 - The Animal Welfare Intergroup has sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, regarding compliance with the Farm to Fork and Green Deal commitments on animal welfare. Francisco Guerreiro MEP, as Vice-President of the Intergroup, also co-signed this letter. 
The MEPs clarify in the letter that they “would like to reiterate the importance of revising EU legislation on animal welfare, in line with the Commission's Farm to Fork strategy and the Green Deal”
