Amendment of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II)

I voted in favor of this report, which deals with the legislative texts that have regulated investment services and activities on European markets since 2014. The committee proposed revising these texts in November 2021 as part of the Capital Markets Union Package, to promote transparency in the financial markets through the establishment of a central register and to improve investor protection by banning certain misleading practices.
