Agreements between the European Parliament and the ECB on structuring their common practices in the area of central banking

Brussels, June 1, 2023 - I voted in favor of this report because it represents a step forward in codifying the ECB's existing practices of accoutability towards the European Parliament. Our Green group has always been at the forefront of strengthening these processes.
In terms of content, the most important elements are the ECB's commitment to answer written questions, the President of the ECB coming once a quarter for a Dialogue with the Committee on Economic Affairs (ECON) as well as more regular formal interactions.
