Parliament's estimates for the financial year 2025 - Section I - European Parliament

I voted against this report on the EP's estimates because in this economic and political context it seems to us that the EP should contain its expenditure and never increase its budget in this way. The provisional budget amounts to EUR 2 499 233 329, corresponding to an increase of 4.87% compared to 2024, and we believe that this increase should be a maximum of 3%. We believe that in the current circumstances an increase above inflation is unacceptable.
