Mobilization of the European Globalization Adjustment Fund - Application EGF/2023/004 DK Danish Crown - Denmark

I voted in favor of this funding from the EGF. The European Globalization Adjustment Fund aims to show solidarity and promote sustainable and decent employment in the Union by supporting workers and self-employed people who have lost their jobs due to massive restructuring events by helping them to return to the decent and sustainable labour market as soon as possible. The EGF does not provide funding to any company and does not replace actions that are their responsibility. This particular case concerns 751 workers who lost their jobs following the closure of the Danish Crown slaughterhouse in Sæby.
