I voted in favour of this report because this opinion from the Employment Committee, which is part of the European Semester process, is a great effort and defends several priorities that I and the Group of the Greens also stand for.
Among them are the proposal for a balanced strategy that: combines the Green and Digital transitions on the one hand and the social, education and health infrastructure on the other; insists that the Recovery Plan must be aligned with the Green Deal and the European Pillar of Social Rights; argues that a successful implementation of the Recovery Plan will only be possible with an appropriate social dialogue with the social partners, among others.
