European response to Covid-19 crisis: common stand from the Greens/EFA
Brussels, 4 April 2020 - The Pessoas-Animais-Natureza (PAN) party, through its MEP Francisco Guerreiro, supports the common stand of the Group of the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament, regarding the European response to the Covid-19 crisis.
'Rarely has a crisis of this size had such a huge impact on so many citizens, and in such a short time, worldwide. This is an unprecedented challenge for our societies, which humanity must face together. Only solidarity and ambitious cooperation, without nationalism or selfishness, will guarantee that we will emerge from this crisis stronger and wiser. We cannot leave anyone behind, we must face this crisis together, with open hearts,' the party considers.
PAN, the European Greens, and the Group of the Greens/EFA are united to be part of the response to this pandemic.
